MATHEMATICS

In SY 2019-20, Ka'ala Elementary School adopted the Ready Classroom Math curriculum in grades K-5. One of the features of the Ready Classroom Math that appealed to Ka'ala Elementary School was the mathematical discourse built into the program. Not only were the assignments rigorous, the lessons had built-in prompts encouraging students to converse with each other about problem solving.
